Industrial warehousing leasing hits record 59.1 mn sq ft

Industrial and warehousing space leasing in India's top 24 cities reached a record 59.1 million sq ft from January to September. Tier-I cities accounted for 47.2 million sq ft. Demand was driven by light manufacturing, e-commerce, and third-party logistics sectors. Fresh supply increased to 68.9 million sq ft, indicating favorable market trends as consumption patterns shift and supply chains are optimized.
